Create and Publish LED Sign Program on PlutoManager Tutorial

This tutorial is going to teach you how to edit and publish program to your LED Sign with PlutoManager. Please follow the practical steps and you will learn how to operate on PlutoManager.

 

Step1. Open PlutoManager

When the screen is connected and set through NovaLCT-Pluto, edit and publish broadcasting list through PlutoManager software.The software main interface is shown as picture 1:

 

Step 2. Choose the controlling computer's IP

Choose asynchronous broadcasting software PlutoManager's IP address in【Configuration】-【Software configuration】-【Connect IP】.As shown in picture 2:

Note:This step aims to connect asynchronous broadcasting software with asynchronous card terminal through IP address. If choose the incorrect IP address, the software won't be able to find theterminal.

Note: Connecting IP refers to the boradcasting and controlling computer's IP address. For example: when the asynchronous card and broadcasting and controlling computer share the same intranet, and the asynchronous card's IP address is 192.168.0.220 which is also the default IP address,the connecting IP address needs to choose the IP address of 0 networksegment.If the computer broadcasts and controls through public network, choose the corresponding IP address of public network.

 

3. Search intranet terminal

Click 【Client management】 and the terminal management interface will pop up, choose 【Search client in LAN】 on the top left corner of the interface.

Note: On the terminal management interface, we can see Client information,Client name,IP address,Screen size. In order to make terminal management easier, add Group, and import, export client to configure information.

 

4. Create play program

Click in the toll bar of the main interface to open the interface of play program.

Play program is consisted by general segment and timing inserted segment.
The general segment and timing inserted segment contains at least one program page.
The program page is consisted by at least one window which is used to add videos and pictures, etc.

1)COMMON SEGMENT: Specifies broadcasting date, valid broadcasting days per week, and valid broadcasting segments per day.
2)TIMING INSERTED SEGMENT:designates how many times and for how long should the screen broadcasts contents within the valid time duration.
3)TIMING INSERTED SEGMENT:Within specified day duration, valid days and specified time segment, designates how many times and for how long should the screen broadcasts contents every certain intervals.

 

5. Set Play window size

Click to establish a new play program, set play window size.

Map location of the play window: X is abscissa, Y is ordinate. Normally, they are all set to be 0, which means the map starts from coordinate 0—the top left of the computer. The size of the play window: set it according to the actual size of the screen.

Choose terminal: set the size of the screen of different terminals.

6. Edit play program

1) When the play program is newly established, the system default is common Segment-common program page-common window. Click to add files, humidity and temperature to the common window.

Note:Real time humidity and temperature display requires the installation of humidity and temperature sensor. Weather forecast display requires connection to the internet.

Note: in the window editing area, X, Y are map coordinates, the height and width are already set in the program (set in line with the screen’s actual size)

2) Media Property

Note: Media property could change parameters such as the special effect of media's appearing and disappearing, speed and time.

7.Adjustment principle of play program

If different medium have conflicts over broadcasting time, the following adjustment principles will be followed:

1) 同类型的播放段, 后面的优先级高
2) If the timely inserted media's broadcasting time overlaps with regular media's broadcasting time, the timely inserted media prevail

8. Save the play program

When the play program is completed, click , and a plan saving window will pop up.

NOTE: ON THIS PAGE, WE CAN SEE THE STORE CONTENT, STORED PLAY PLAN LIST AND CAN CHANGE OUR PLAY PLAN. Click【Save】, the production of play program is completed.

9. Publication of play program

a. Online publication

Online publication refers to publish the play plan directly to the terminal's storage space through internet.

Operating steps:

1) On the interface of PlutoManager, click the button of 【Publish play-program】, enter into the publish interface or click the button on the play program production interface.

Note: on this interface, we could check our saved play program, the size of the screen, if convert, send, export and delete.

Delete:It doesn't matter if the status is “not converted” or “convert completed”, once it is deleted, all the relative files of the play program will be deleted.
Export: Export the play program to the USB flash disk.

2) Select the play program, press the button 【ctrl】 to choose more than one plans, click the right button of the mouse, and click 【send】, the following window will show up, then click 【OK】;

Note: normally, click 【OK】, if parameters need to be changed,choose 【Advanced】.

3) For play program which is converted, click the corresponding 【Send】button to get into the following interface。

Note: Plan could be sent to desiganeted terminal or send by groups.Choose according to terminal: check the online terminal directly which will broadcast contents ; Choose according to groups: publish play program by groups.If the terminal screen has a different size compared with the size in the play program, and the customer still wants to send the plan,the system will adjust the window size automatically which will cause deformation of the terminal displaying.

4) Choose one or more target terminal, click 【Next】 to enter into the following interface:

5) It is suggested that check 【Pause client playing while sending media】, and set the storage path when send the play program to the terminal, then click 【 Next 】 to send. When sending is completed, the following interface will show up.

Until now, the production and publishing of asynchronous play program is complete, and the screen will function normally.
